To keep every community thriving, affiliate clubs are approved only when their primary event location is at least a 60-minute drive (about 30–35 miles) from any existing Bond Maker–owned or affiliate club.

Is this a franchise, takeover, or rebrand of our club?
No. This is not a franchise or takeover. Your club remains fully independent while affiliating with The Bond Maker Network for tools, visibility, and shared opportunities.
Do we keep control of our club, members, and dues?
Yes. Affiliate clubs continue to manage their own membership dues, policies, and local engagement, and The Bond Maker does not collect or manage local membership payments. If you choose to opt in, we can also process dues through our platform and handle payouts to your club—this is optional, and additional fees may apply.
What happens if we decide to cancel our affiliation or do not renew?
There are no cancellation fees, contracts, or hidden costs to end your affiliation with The Bond Maker. You simply notify us, and we will close your affiliate account, remove your club listings, and update member access for any upcoming events. If an annual affiliation renewal is not paid within 15 days of the due date, the affiliation will be automatically canceled.
What role does The Bond Maker play for our club and members?
The Bond Maker provides the digital platform, member profiles, online community, event visibility, and access to national experiences—while your club continues to lead locally.
How are member profiles created and updated?
Your club tells us who your active members are, and we create and maintain their profiles in the platform—you simply notify us when members are added or removed. If you choose to opt in, your members can also join your club directly at thebondmaker.com (optional; additional payment processing fees may apply), which is ideal for clubs currently using paper forms or manual payments and want a faster, more streamlined sign-up process.
What benefits do our members receive through affiliation?
Members gain access to a modern platform, a connected online community, virtual events, additional services, and optional travel experiences through BOND VOYAGE.
Can our members participate in travel and national experiences?
Yes. Affiliated club members may participate in BOND VOYAGE getaways, travel meetups, and select national or virtual events offered through The Bond Maker.
Will another Bond Maker or affiliate club open near us?
No. Affiliate clubs operate within protected territories. Approval requires that your primary event location is at least a 60-minute drive (about 30–35 miles) from any existing Bond Maker–owned or affiliate club to prevent overlap.
Do we have to use specific event formats or programming?
No. You continue to plan and host events in a way that fits your community. We offer tools, resources, and optional guidance—not required programming.
What fees are required to become an affiliate?
There is a $125 non-refundable application fee and, if accepted, a $1,000 annual affiliation fee (payment plans are available). Optional platform fees may be introduced in the future.
What happens if we decide to end the affiliation?
You may exit the affiliation according to the agreement terms. Your club remains independent, and we provide a clear process for updating member access.
How do event postings work for affiliate clubs?
Affiliate clubs can post free events directly on thebondmaker.com at no cost, as long as events are hosted within your approved territory and are not located within a 60-minute drive (about 30–35 miles) of another Bond Maker–owned or affiliate club event listing. If an event requires paid tickets, it should be hosted on Eventbrite or another third-party ticketing platform, and you can link that paid event from your listing on thebondmaker.com. We plan to offer an optional feature that allows paid events to be hosted directly on thebondmaker.com in the future; additional fees may apply.
Do you solicit our members or share our member data?
No. The Bond Maker does not solicit affiliate club members to join The Bond Maker or any other affiliate club, and we do not market competing memberships to them. We also do not share member data between clubs. Member privacy and data protection are a top priority, and all information is handled in accordance with our privacy standards.
